Enterprise security knowledge has always stayed inside corporate walls, written in language nobody outside the industry could understand. Hasie was built to change that. One person at a time.
Why not just Google it
Information is everywhere. Guidance built around you is rare.
You can find answers online. What you can't find is someone who knows your situation, speaks your language, and stays with you until it actually makes sense.
Every session is a real conversation with a vetted professional. You bring your actual situation: the device, the message, the thing that's been nagging at you, and we work through it together.
We don't assume you know the vocabulary. We don't rush past the parts that feel obvious to us but aren't obvious to you. We start from where you are, every time.
We're not trying to become your IT department. We're trying to make sure you don't need one. Every session is designed to leave you more capable than when you started.
Why Hasie exists
For most of my career, I spent over a decade inside the security programs that protect some of the largest organizations in the world: energy companies, defense contractors, healthcare systems. I have sat in the rooms where breach responses happen and built the frameworks that keep critical infrastructure running. The kind of work that rarely makes headlines when it goes right, and makes very big headlines when it doesn't.
What I kept noticing, though, was that the threats we were defending against at that scale were the same ones showing up in my family's inboxes. The same social engineering. The same manipulation tactics. The same sense of urgency designed to make you act before you think. Luckily, I could help them. But I kept thinking about all the families who didn't have someone like me to call.
That gap bothered me for a long time. The people who most need this kind of guidance are exactly the ones who have the least access to it. Not because they aren't capable of understanding it, but because nobody has ever taken the time to explain it in a way that actually makes sense to them. In plain language. Without the condescension. Without making them feel like they should have already known.
Hasie is my attempt to fix that. It's the place I kept wishing existed for the people I love. Somewhere you can bring a weird email, a confusing device, a nagging feeling that something isn't right, and get a real answer from someone who genuinely wants to help you understand it, not just solve it for you.
The name comes from my daughter's stuffed bunny. It goes everywhere with her. It doesn't do anything particularly complicated. It just makes her feel safe. That's the whole idea.

Where it led
When we started working with people directly, the same thing kept happening. A session would end, someone would feel genuinely better, and then three weeks later a new thing would come up. A suspicious text. A password they weren't sure about. A device behaving strangely. And they'd be back to not knowing who to ask.
The Protection Program was built for exactly that. A low monthly membership that keeps a vetted professional in your corner. Not just for the session you planned, but for the moment you didn't see coming. It's the thing I always wished my family had access to. Now they do. And so do you.
Our approach
No scripts, no help-desk energy, no talking down. We have real conversations with real people about the things that are actually worrying them.
You're not expected to already know this. Nobody is born knowing how to spot a phishing email, and there's no version of this where you should feel embarrassed for asking.
We start from where you are. If you need us to explain what a browser is before we talk about passwords, we will. Your pace, your questions, your comfort level.
The goal is for you to walk away capable, not reliant on us. We explain the why, not just the what, so the next time something comes up you have the tools to handle it yourself.
Who we are here for
If any of these sound familiar, you're in the right place.
Wherever you're starting from
We build every session around you. Not a script, not a curriculum. Just what you actually need, explained the way that makes sense for you.
Find your starting point"The people who most need this kind of help are exactly the ones who have never had access to it. Not because they can't understand it, but because nobody has ever taken the time to explain it like it matters. That's what we're here for."
