Hasie was founded by people who spent careers inside enterprise security and kept seeing the same thing: the knowledge that protects organizations never made it to the people who needed it most. It stayed locked inside corporate walls, written in language nobody outside the industry could understand.
Big tech builds powerful tools, tells everyone they're intuitive, and quietly assumes the people who can't keep up will figure it out. They don't. They disengage, they get targeted, and they get left behind.
The name comes from the Afrikaans word hasie, meaning small bunny. It doesn't do anything complicated. It just makes you feel safe. That's exactly what we're trying to be.
